The GPCA Plastics Excellence Awards recognize outstanding initiatives in plastics conversion, plastics process improvement and product development by companies and individuals from the Arabian Gulf region. Now in its eighth edition, the awards are part of GPCA’s aspirations and continuous contributions to highlight the untapped potential of the plastic value chain in the GCC region. Furthermore, the GPCA Excellence Awards stimulate cooperation of key stakeholders in the industry and will honor joint fundamental developments from resin manufacturers and plastic converters.
The six award categories are designed to reward significant achievements that companies and individuals have made in the fields of material usage, design, manufacturing, processes and environmental performance. For the fifth time, GPCA announces the specialized awards category for students: “Fikra: Rising Starts of the Plastics Industry”.
The 2018 edition of the GPCA Plastics Excellence Awards will take place alongside the ninth edition of the GPCA PlastiCon on 14 March 2018 in Dubai, UAE.
The GPCA Plastics Excellence Awards will be hosted by a judging panel of industry experts who will recognize and honor the companies that play an important role in the value chain of plastic production.
